An ongoing guide to our classmates: Feel free to pass this site on to other classmates, family, or friends who might be interested in what you did in your teenage years and beyond, and what it was like at that time and place, much different since it was a boarding school and it was a seminary in the throes of change. My classmates and I warmly welcome any new classmate who wishes to share his bio on this site, or just an email address where others can connect and say hello. To do the former just email me a summary and some photos at jobarlives@gmail.com, and I will post it for the posterity of this site. Others would welcome your update, and you will be on my emailing group list to keep you posted of class news which others ask to be shared and/or Alumi Association news as it may pertain to our class, or to do class updates not included in bios. Our last big reunion was sponsored by the St. Joe's/St. Pat's Alumni Association on April 29, 2017 at St. Patrick's Seminary and University in Menlo Park. It was the 50 year anniversary of our Rhet class of 1967, and for anyone joining that class before or after. It was noteworthy that we were the last Rhet class to ever graduate from St. Joseph's since its inception in 1924, and will be the last so honored. Also noteworthy was that it was the last year the Suplicians taught at St. Pat's after having had their rector replaced by the Archbishop. We honored their 118 year tenure. The Alumni Association hosts annual reunions in April, and many of our classmates have met on those mornings on the old campus, now Rancho San Antonio Park as they did in 2015. --Joe Barile, October 1, 2019

John Leslie (right) with me when we were either Six-Latiners (freshmen) or sophomores at St. Joe's. I agree with Buz Meisel when he said, "Those were our halcyon days." John's sudden passing in 2005 shocked and motivated me to try to reconnect with the great group of guys I lived with for so many years.
