BASEBALL CAMP: This summer I attended a baseball camp in Belmont on the Peninsula, for one week, August 1-5. It was from 9 to 2 pm, and we just played baseball all day. It was run by Mr. Metheany, Mr. Dunning, and Nick San Filippo. I played first and center, and had about 20 hits with 10 home runs. At end of the week we went to a Giant's game against the Rockies. Our team won, and I got Noah Lowry's autograph, and a foul ball.

MY BEST DEFENSIVE PLAY: I was playing in the majors on the Rockies in my rookie season. We were in the championship game against the Mets. I was in left field. There was a runner on third with one away. Suddenly I heard the metal click of the bat, and saw the ball hit high and my direction. I turned and ran, caught the ball on my side, and gunned it home to the catcher on a line drive. The runner on third tagged, and my perfect through beat him to the plate. It was a double play it ended the inning, and I leaped in the air with joy and excitement. That was the best defensive play I have ever made.

MY MOST MEMORABLE HIT: I was on the Rockies, and it was the semi finals. We were playing the Giants, and Nick Hackney was pitching. The game was tied in the bottom of the sixth. I was up, and there was a runner on second. I crushed the ball all the way to the wall in right center, and the runner scored, winning the game. Everyone jumped on me me because that win took us to the championships. I felt overjoyed.

LUCKY NUMBER SEVEN: When I was eight and on the Devil Rays, a farm team, I want number 25 because it's Barry Bonds number. The coach handed me number 7. That year I made the All Stars, so kept number seven for seven years, the rest of farm year,AA, AAA, two years of Majors, Pony League, and so far one year of Babe Ruth.
