The 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake topled the tower, and the grounds have been parcelled out to homes, the Forum Assisted Living Center, and Rancho San Antonio Open Space Park.  From 1924 to 1989 the minor seminary trained some 5,000 men, about 10% of whom were ordained to the priesthood. Since that time seminaries only admit college level or higher.
