(These are the books which come to mind as I remember them, and not in any order. This was a very interesting exercise which I recommend, for in some small way the books we read are part of us, even if we do not consciously remember and recall them. I do not consider myself a huge reader, maybe reading a book or two a month, sometimes less, some-times more, but it amazes me how the number of books I read add up. It also amazes and saddens me that I cannot remember more books, and of those listed how much I don't remember of their contents.) I find I remember non fiction works more than fiction because I have always been on a search to know more about myself (philosophy, history, psych. etc). I am trying to remember when I read these books and will either put my age in parentheses of the approximate year.
